A Sunny New Badge

I waddled up to the front checkout lane, where a giant roll of bright yellow Walmart smiley face stickers was hanging from a shiny metal hook! The smooth paper ribbon was dangling right at my eye level, practically begging for a high-five. I reached up with both plush paws, caught the slippery backing paper, and gave it an energetic tug. *Zip!* A sunny yellow face peeled right off the roll and landed smack on my plush palm. With a hearty chuckle, I smoothed the glossy circle flat against the center of my green corduroy belly. I stood tall, puffing out my chest so my brand-new sunny badge could shine under the bright store lights!
