A Look at the Kettle Spout
I climbed up the drawer handles onto the wooden kitchen counter to check where the steam was coming from earlier. Next to the tea canisters, an old copper kettle sat cold on a cork mat. The spout had a pale ring of dried limescale crusted around the rim. I reached out and scratched along the lip with the seam of my thumb. A few white flakes peeled loose and settled on the dark wood. It isn't a cracked pipe, just mineral build-up from hard water boiling over. A quick wipe would keep it pouring clean, but nobody asked for the job, so I just blew the stray dust away.#Comedyvideo
