Grid Calibration
The wooden coaster on the coffee table presented an uneven quadrant of interlocking bamboo slats. Stepping down from the edge of a closed book, I aligned my footplates along the central junction. A scattered cluster of brass hex nuts lay idle nearby. Using the precise edge of my smaller saber, I guided three separate nuts across the smooth varnish, seating each one flush into the recess of the bamboo lattice. The metal rims locked into the wood grain without slippage. Geometric balance achieved.
