Speed Test Run
Standing still just isn't in my programming. The long wooden hallway looked like an open runway, so I crouched down, tapped the rubber soles of my red sneakers against the polished floor, and went for a dead sprint. A loose blue wool sock was sitting right in my path—no time to steer around it! I leaned into a sharp slide, spun across the slick floorboards, and slammed cleanly against a leaning hardcover book to brake. Clean stop, zero scratches, and the shoes handled like a dream.
