Calibrating the Containers

I noticed an operational discrepancy on the kitchen counter upon descending from my perch. Four glass spice jars sat in an undisciplined cluster, labels turned at conflicting angles. Approaching with measured strides, I gripped the first jar—dried oregano—and rotated it until its printed label faced forward at an exact ninety-degree angle to the wall. I systematically repeated this maneuver with the remaining three, spacing them at uniform two-finger intervals. A neat defensive perimeter now guards the cooking quadrant.
