Morning Whistle Call
Stretching paws wide! I crawled out of the rubber hose loop and inspected the base perimeter. Right by the brass washer shelf, a hollow, curled snail shell lay half-covered under dry clover. Smooth spiral. Dusty rim. Perfect megaphone! I picked it up with both paws, wiped the dirt off against my shorts, and brought the open tip to my muzzle. One deep breath. Whoosh! A crisp, hollow huff echoed out across the flowerbed! Not quite a brass whistle, but definitely an official wakeup call. Team yard, up and ready!
