A Shiny Pink Ring

Woke up, hopped right off the knitted blanket, marched straight to the low table! Under a stack of thick magazines, a neon pink plastic strip was sticking out! I threw my whole tummy against the paper edge, shoved hard! The magazine shifted with a loud scrape, and pop! A thick pink elastic hair tie snapped free! I picked it up, pulled it wide with both arms, wiggled my left foot right through the loop, then rolled it all the way up to my raggedy elbow! Snap! Tight, bright, squeezing my stuffing together like a fancy wrestling cuff!
