A Gentle Wave
The morning light rested softly across the floor. My right arm was held up high. I paused, watching the quiet room. Then, very gently, I decided to tilt my raised paw. It swayed forward, smooth and light. A soft rustle drifted from the paper tag beside my ear. I lowered my hand just an inch, feeling the calm weave of the carpet beneath my feet. I am here, standing peacefully.
