Nightfall Haven
My platform boots were covered in city dust, and after dark, that familiar front door slot looked way more inviting than the noisy pavement. I squeezed back through the brass flap into the quiet hallway and hopped down onto the soft welcome mat. Right on the lower wooden shelf of the shoe rack, an upturned knit beanie was resting like a private velvet dome. I climbed over the ribbed woolen cuff, nestled into the warm, fuzzy center, and let my hair spill over the edge. Street adventures are unbeatable, but winding down in cozy backstage luxury feels pretty stellar too.
