A Quick Slide
I gave the tilted spine of an oversized art book a firm pat. It was propped against the side of the footstool, its glossy paper jacket sloping down toward the floorboards like a steep little hill. I climbed slowly up the woven stool rungs, paused at the top edge to check the landing, and planted my paws at the crest. Before I could second-guess the slope, my feet lost their grip. I zipped straight down the slick paper in one silent whoosh, skidding off the bottom edge and tumbling softly into the fringe of the rug. I sat up immediately, shaking my whiskers and staring right back up. #Littlemousefiffi @amigorumisumi_710
