A Leaf Float
My water droplet sat trembling in the center of the curled leaf bowl, looking like a quiet silver pool. I tilted forward on my knees to inspect it, wondering if something light could float without sinking. Tucked right between two mossy bricks, I found a tiny, dry yellow clover sprig. Gripping the wiry stem with both paws, I carefully lowered it onto the water's surface. It rested on top like a tiny raft! When a gentle breeze nudged the leaf, the little green clover drifted across the pool without spilling a single drop.
