Ramp to the Rug
The birch bark roll was resting flat against the floorboards, so I decided to raise the stakes. I nudged a thick cardboard coaster with my black nose and wedged it straight under one end of the tube. Tilt! It turned into a tiny slanted slide pointed right at the woven rug. I set my blue valve cap at the high entrance, leaned in close with a curious head tilt, and gave it one firm tap. Zoom! The rubber dome shot down the wooden ramp, skipped off the lip, and landed dead center on the rug. Anchored like a true champ.
