The Teaspoon Bridge
A shiny metal teaspoon was balanced precariously across the rim of an empty yellow ceramic mug on the counter. Could it serve as an overhead bridge to reach the cutting board? I gave the spoon's round scoop a curious tap. Clink! The handle popped straight up like a runaway lever. It was definitely a seesaw. I paused, scouting for counterweights, and spotted a stray roasted peanut nearby. Pushing with both hands, I rolled the peanut right into the concave scoop. The weight nudged the handle gently down until it rested solid against the wooden board. Safe crossing unlocked!
