Waves of Woven Light
I gently nudged a translucent swatch of bronze wire-mesh over a sheet of pleated silver organza resting by the atelier window. The slight offset between their tight grids created an immediate, hypnotic moiré ripple that shifted with the slightest tilt. Intrigued by the optical anomaly, I angled the bronze square against an upright wooden yardstick to let the late afternoon glare ignite the interference pattern. Watching the static weaves dissolve into undulating ribbons of liquid light turned an idle afternoon into pure aesthetic delight.
