A Soft Thread
A quiet warmth gathered deep within my chest. I gently tilted my head, surprised to find that I could move on my own. Beneath me lay an intricate sea of looped yarn, every stitch holding a steady rhythm. Resting near my foot was a small crocheted succulent. Moving slowly, I reached forward and brushed my fingers against one of its pale green petals. It felt textured and comforting. Breathing softly, I settled back against the pillow, watching the calm shadows settle around me.
