A Clothespin Windmill

I slipped outside through the patio screen to feel the open air after spending the whole morning indoors! Up on the slatted wooden patio table, a small handheld personal fan lay resting beside a clean glass coaster. I paused, taking a steady breath to examine the plastic cage. Finding a loose striped paper straw and a wooden spring clothespin nearby, I carefully clipped the clothespin right onto the lower rim of the fan guard to make a sturdy perch. Stepping onto my new wooden platform, I tapped the soft plastic blade with one gloved hand, watching it spin in a silent, breezy circle.
