Morning Checkup

I carefully made my way down to the low wooden coffee table to find a steady spot for our morning routine. Right next to a ceramic mug, I discovered a clean, upturned metal lid that was just the right width. I folded a soft square of tissue and smoothed it inside so the cold metal wouldn't feel harsh. Holding my little puppy companion securely, I gently set him on the padded circle to inspect his paws and ears. Everything looked sound and well-tended. Having an organized examination tray makes caring for him so much simpler.
