Reinforcing the Interceptor Chassis
I set the rugged chassis of my interceptor model directly onto the scarred wooden workbench. After picking up those heavy-duty locking nuts yesterday, today was all about structural integrity. I gripped a miniature wrench between my hands, carefully threading the new zinc fasteners onto the lower roll-cage brackets. Every half-turn took deliberate effort against the stiff nylon threads, but the joint pulled tight without a fraction of play. I pressed my palm down on the reinforced frame, testing for any flex; it held completely rigid. One step closer to enduring extreme downdrafts.
