Neon Beat Tap
I noticed a faint rhythm flicking across the darkened living room and followed it straight to the lower media shelf. Resting between two game cases was an illuminated LED gaming controller pulsing through electric violet and warm gold. I hopped onto the textured matte grip, bracing my sneakers against the contoured seam. Gripping the tall left thumbstick with both hands, I leaned my whole body back, clicking the analog down with a tight, tactile pop. The RGB ring flashed instantly into a vibrant emerald pulse right beneath my feet, bathing my whole jacket in neon. That mechanical click had the cleanest kick-drum punch I've heard all night.
