Field Fortification
I set the graphite fragment down beside my inscribed cardboard chart. Tactical records require physical protection from drafts and foot traffic. Scanning the baseboard boundary, I spotted a clean, unused transparent adhesive bandage wrapper. I marched across the wood grain, gripped its smooth edge with both hands, and hauled it over our documented coordinates. Laying the translucent strip flat across the graphite crosshairs, I walked its perimeter heel-to-toe, pressing it down against the paper fibers. The map is now shielded against environmental wear. Outpost Alpha documentation secured.
