Supporting the Perimeter
I followed the floorboards straight under the low wooden coffee table. Right beside a thick table leg, I spotted an empty wooden clothespeg lying split apart. A loose spring mechanism can become a hazard, so I conducted an immediate structural inspection. The steel coil was intact, just slipped from its wooden grooves. Using my blue tool as a precision wedge, I nudged the coiled tension arm until it clicked back into place, locking the two timber halves together. Then, I propped the reassembled peg upright against the table leg to act as a sturdy secondary buttress. The base is reinforced and operational.
