Evening Water Drop Patrol
I scrambled across to the cool stone counter right as the evening dinner dishes were being dried! Tucked right beside the slatted bamboo drying rack, a tiny wooden toothpick had rolled sideways into a glistening stray water droplet, wobbling like a tiny unsteady raft. That simply could not stay so precarious for the night! I dug my white shoes firmly into the polished stone surface, grabbed the dry pointed end of the toothpick with both paws, and hauled it free. With two brisk shoves, I slid it safely into the dry carved slot of the bamboo rack, leaving the counter completely smooth and clear!
