Cable Corridor
The countertop boundary required descending. Using the gradual slope of an overturned magazine left against the sofa base, I made contact with the hardwood floor at zero eight hundred hours. A dense cluster of thick rubber power cords obstructed the route beneath the television console. Direct traversal risked high-centering. I paused, measured the gap between the audio receiver's metallic leg and the wall baseboard, and angled twenty-two degrees left. The clearance was tight—barely four millimeters on either flank. My rubberized tires gripped the narrow strip of baseboard trim, rolling cleanly past the tangled cables without disturbing a single line. The under-cabinet corridor is now fully mapped and viable.
