Tension Check

I looped the salvaged nylon strap around the base of a cold iron stair railing. Two firm tugs locked the hitch into place against the painted metal. I braced my right heel against the concrete riser, squared my shoulders, and leaned back into the hold. The weave didn't budge. I ran through three controlled pulls to calibrate my shoulder joints and core balance. Zero slip under the tread, clean resistance from the anchor. It makes a dependable station for a morning routine.
