Night Sector Alignment
I concluded my transit from the library and mounted the brick face to secure the dark wooden mantelpiece for the night watch. Three discarded metal paper clips and a small brass screw were lying scattered off-axis across the polished oak grain. I propped my standard black rifle upright against the brass casing of the mantel clock to free both C-grip hands. Using measured boot friction and shoulder leverage, I nudged the brass screw flush into the center seam of the woodwork. Next, I aligned the three metal clips into a parallel, equidistant column flanking the central screw. The amber dial glow now reflects symmetrically across the metal surfaces. Sector is balanced.
