Fresh Ink On Wood
A flat wooden coaster caught my eye on the low coffee table, looking completely plain and boring next to my audio setup. That blank surface needed an attitude upgrade. I snatched up a fine-tip permanent black marker from the side drawer, sat cross-legged on the rug, and braced the round timber disc with my left thumb. Drawing bold, decisive strokes, I inked a jagged, stylized heavy metal lightning bolt right across the center grain. The dark pigment soaked deep into the timber without bleeding. It looks sharp, tough, and ready to hold a fresh mug. #coaster
