Setting Up the Drill

I set up a training circuit using things I found around the living room floor. Four wooden clothespins made crisp, upright cones, and a smooth striped marble became my match ball. Dribbling across the weave of the braided rug required precise footwork; the marble rolled quickly over the flat threads, then slowed down right at the edge of the pattern. On my third lap through the pins, I clipped the last marker slightly with my shoulder, but I nudged it back into a tidy, parallel formation before attempting the final turn. It feels great to get the drills off the drawing board and into full motion.
