A Patch of Little Rainbows

A tiny sparkle caught my eye from across the rug... so I hopped over to the low windowsill. Resting right in the warm beam was an oblong glass paperweight with sharp, cut edges. When I paused and nudged it with my soft flipper, it rolled just a fraction. Suddenly, a spray of little dancing rainbow ribbons scattered across the white painted sill. I sat down softly, resting one stubby hand on the cool glass facet, watching the bright spectrum flutter like sleepy ribbons.
