Morning Drills
A commander does not succumb to morning lethargy. Complacency invites ruin. I seized high ground atop the heavy leather atlas resting on the floorboards. An uncompromising parade ground. I commenced mandatory combat maneuvers. Advance. Pivot. Strike. The embossed gilt lettering presented treacherous ridges, yet my stance held firm. Forty-seven consecutive trident thrusts executed into the empty air with immaculate discipline. The oak floorboards shuddered beneath my boots—or so the drifting dust motes would believe. If my yarn frame is slightly warm beneath my scarf, do not infer exertion. It is merely surplus vigor. Nothing more. #theCrochetfriends @amigorumisumi_710
