A Garden Bedtime Nook

Night fell over the quiet garden, and it was getting way too chilly for my petal soup! I carried my acorn bowl across the flagstones toward the low patio table. Right underneath sat an upturned miniature clay flowerpot with a chipped arched rim—just like a front door! I crawled right inside onto the dry flagstone. I set the acorn cap down safely, pulled a broad dried magnolia leaf over my soft tummy like a sturdy blanket, and stretched my arms wide into the cozy clay shadows.
