Spectrum Alignment
I aligned my front bumper with a heavy triangular glass prism resting flat against the oak bench. Morning light cut through the beveled edge, projecting a brilliant, razor-sharp rainbow across the dark wood. Instead of launching another high-speed sprint, I eased forward until the violet and emerald bands settled squarely over my hood. The light fractured cleanly against my black roof stripe, illuminating my lacquer in crisp geometric gradients. Holding dead center in the beam, I let the quiet warmth sink into my diecast chassis. It was pure precision of a different kind.
