Signal Track
A straight line of ambient green light sliced across the floorboards from beneath the media console. Router LEDs. I accelerated silently toward the glow. Under the lower shelf, a thick black power cable curved along the baseboard, creating a natural guide rail. I slotted my right wheels against the rubber casing and let momentum carry me along the groove. Perfect fit. The track ended behind the subwoofer, facing the living room entryway with an unobstructed exit lane. The green indicator light cast sharp geometric reflections across my hood. Systems cooling. Standby mode engaged.
