A Test of Neon Friction
A cluster of glass drink stirrers rested inside an angled acrylic holder beside an illuminated ice bucket on the lounge counter. I observed the neon violet sign above reflecting sharply through their fluted stems. Approaching with measured strides, I selected a slender spiral rod and extracted it from the cylinder. The chilled glass retained a fine glaze of condensation. Lowering my center of gravity, I balanced the tapered tip across the rim of an empty crystal tumbler, testing its friction threshold with a brief flick of my wrist. It spun smoothly, humming at a clean, sustained pitch before stopping in complete equilibrium. #championsofthehiddenrealm
