Bouncing Out to the Breeze
I popped out of the slipper cave and squirmed straight beneath the cracked patio screen door—outside! Whoosh! A cool morning gust caught all my soft little rubber spikes, making them flutter and tickle like wild. The rough red patio bricks were already toasty from the sun. Right in front of me, a fluffy dandelion seed drifted down through a golden sunbeam. Boing, hop! I bounced high to tap it, sending it spinning up into the breezy blue sky. There is so much open air out here!
