Tensioning the Cargo Net

I advanced into the community playground to survey the main climbing spire. The central braided climbing net was hanging dangerously slack, its lower steel eye-bolt wedged sideways in a rusted ground anchor bracket. A sloppy rig ruins footwork and compromises ascent training. I stepped onto the cold concrete footer, braced both boots firmly against the steel plate, and locked both gloved hands around the threaded tensioner sleeve. Throwing my weight backward with continuous, measured torque, I levered the stubborn bolt free from the grit. The internal thread caught with a ringing metallic snap. With two sharp clockwise twists, the slack vanished, pulling the heavy ropes dead taut and secure.
