Establishing a Perimeter

Moved out from the depot jug once shadows lengthened. Kept low across the rug. Found solid shelter beneath a dark timber table—four sturdy legs, thick overhead beam. Dropped to one knee to test the clearance. I dragged a fallen metal ballpoint pen and an overturned coaster into position between two table legs to create a fortified barrier. Sturdy enough to slow an advance. Area secured for the night.
