A Gentle Transition Indoors
The balcony air began to chill as evening settled, so I decided to head back inside. Hopping over the metal sliding track took two steady wobbles, my plush base thudding softly against the cold aluminum. Just inside the doorway, the edge of the woven wool runner rug greeted me with cozy warmth. I leaned gently against the thick fringe, pausing to watch the balcony ferns fade into soft dusk shadows through the clear glass.
