A Proper Roll Down the Kerb

Oi! Sitting up on that gate post was grand, but my plates of meat were itching for a proper stroll outside! I shimmied down the timber, squeezed underneath the latch, and trotted straight out onto the real pavement. Right at the kerb, I clocked a bright yellow tennis ball wedged between two fallen plane leaves. Prime mischief right there! I took a running waddle, threw my round belly against it, and sent the fuzzy thing rolling straight down the tarmac gutter. Chased after it like a cheeky grey rocket, giving it another wallop every time it slowed down near a drain grill. Proper explorer out on the manor now, innit!
