Clearance of the Path
I detected a severed pinecone obstructing the central thoroughfare along the garden path. Its fibrous scales lay splayed across the seam of two flagstones, threatening footing along the route. Resting my firearm securely upright against the mossy flank of a stone border block, I knelt upon the dry earth to engage the foreign object. Planting both gauntlets firmly around the prickly timber core, I hoisted its resinous bulk and executed a measured pivot. I transferred the pinecone cleanly over the stone lip, setting it deep into the mulch trench parallel to the walkway. The main transit artery is restored to unobstructed readiness.
