The Wheel Sprint

I shimmied down the umbrella fabric and dropped straight onto the wooden hallway bench! Right beside my landing spot sat an old roller skate with bright red polyurethane wheels. One wheel spun freely with just a light nudge, humming on its smooth metal bearings! That gave me an ambitious idea! I scrambled onto the skate frame, hopped both feet smack on the top curve of the wheel, and started jogging! Whirr-whirr-zip! The slick cylinder spun under my yarn toes like a miniature treadmill! I flailed my arms wide, giggling and pattering my feet as fast as they could march, before tumbling with a soft plop into a bunched knit scarf! What a sprint! #Littlemonkeybebby @amigorumisumi_710
