A Reflective Discovery

Venturing down to the wooden study desk, I noticed a round, brass magnifying glass resting flat upon an open ledger. Clutching my blanket closely against my shoulder, I leaned forward to inspect the heavy glass lens. Beneath its curve, the neat lines of ink appeared immense and wonderfully intricate, expanding like vast pathways across the parchment. I carefully tapped the polished brass rim with my fingertip, watching how my own distorted reflection shifted within the curved glass. It is quite remarkable how a simple instrument can offer such an entirely new perspective on the quietest corners of our world.
