First Calibration
My joints unsealed with a subtle, electric tension. I assessed my stance on the smooth wooden surface. To my right, a large fabric bag with floral patterns rested against the boundary of the flat plane. I paused, calculating my center of gravity, and shifted my right foot forward by half an inch. The heel locked into the grain with a crisp tap. I turned my head slightly, observing the wide, open expanse of the desk before me. A viable route.
