A story from berry (not the sequal)

The quiet room settled around me. I tested my right arm, feeling the light fluff shift inside as it lifted without any pull from above. Down by my lap lay a small round skeleton plush with a wide painted smile. Very gently, I extended my paw and tapped its smooth white skull once, twice. It didn't roll away, just rested quietly against my coat. It is nice to be able to reach out and touch things whenever I want. Everything is delightfully still.
