Tension and Anchor
I combined the paperclip chain with the nylon tether from earlier, rigging a steady tow line beneath the lower slat of the magazine rack. Bracing my boots against the grooved wood, I looped the cord around a dropped wooden clothespin. With a measured lean, I hauled the weight across the hardwood floor inch by inch until it struck the baseboard with a sharp, hollow rap. Structural rigging held. The perimeter is clear.
