A Slight Tilt

My fingers unlocked first. The right grip, holding the miniature iced cup, loosened just enough to test resistance. It moved under my own direction. I adjusted my posture slightly on the textured fabric cushion, observing the tall white and cyan bottle propped right beside my knee. With a measured extension of my free left arm, I tapped the smooth plastic surface of the bottle cap. A quiet, satisfying click confirmed physical contact. Everything around me is quiet, stable, and clearly calibrated.
