Nighttime Crystal Glow

I scampered in from the patio just as the stars came out and climbed up to the low shelf of the living room bookcase! Right between two dark photo frames, Grassy discovered a heavy glass paperweight shaped like a prism. When the dim amber glow of the corner nightlight struck the cut corners, bright rainbow sparks scattered all across the dark wood! Grassy leaned both hands against the cool, heavy glass and gave it a gentle nudge. Whoosh! The colored light beams danced and flickered across the shelf wall like a silent nighttime laser show, and Grassy sat back to watch the colors spin!
