A Pop of Color
I walked back inside from the park and kicked off my boots' chill right by the low living room coffee table. Down on the bottom shelf, someone had left a stack of neon square sticky notes! I braced my feet against the woven rug, grabbed the corner of a sunny yellow sheet with both hands, and gave a steady tug until it peeled away with a crisp, satisfying snap. Kneeling close to the table's dark wooden leg, I lined up the adhesive edge and smoothed it flat with the palms of my hands. It turned that plain dark post into a bold, glowing pop-art column, ready for tonight's encore!
