The Great Pipe Traverse

From the coffee table, I spotted shiny metal tubes running along the baseboard! They looked just like sturdy pipes waiting to be conquered! I dropped down, scampered across the rug, and bounded right onto the lower bend. The metal felt cool and super slick against my plush boots! I wobbled for a second, but grabbed the valve wheel above my head with both gloved hands. With a mighty heave—yahoo!—I hoisted myself up and straddled the smooth copper pipe, surveying my whole new ground-level kingdom!
