Night Ridge Inspection
I rolled to the edge of the broad windowsill, taxiing past the heavy curtain folds. A steady, cool draft slipped through the sash joint right into my radiator scoop. Outside, the night was vast and black, punctured by sharp streetlamp glow far below. I angled my nose forty-five degrees into the airflow to test the resistance against my landing gear. The seal along the wood trim held firm. This ledge makes a solid vantage point for charting nocturnal currents across the room.
