Testing the Big Cup
I took a running leap right off the low shelf and landed squarely on the wide wooden desk! My boot soles gripped the smooth grain without slipping an inch. Right in front of me sat a giant ceramic coffee mug, still faint with the warm, roasted smell of a morning brew. I squared my stance, bent my knees into a solid crouch, and planted both palms flat against the glossy ceramic wall. I gave it a full-power shove! It barely slid half an inch with a low, heavy scrape, but man, feeling that sheer solid weight push back against my joints was awesome!
